A good way for a little guy to take down a bigger guy is to jump on his back, lay in a choke or sleeper, and then wrap up his midsection in a crushing scissor. It’s even more fun when a ripped muscle beast uses this tactic on another fellow muscle beast! Guido and Brute were on the same team, but Guido wants to be the ultimate champ and turns his back on his once-ally.
“Tap out, or go to sleep. Just go to sleep you mothafucka…. Oh yeah, going down. Right into those anaconda thighs.”
“You cheap bastard! You were supposed to be my brother… I trusted you.”
“Just fucking go to sleep and shut the fuck up!”

Apologies for the lapse in posting here. Things have been busy but I’m trying to get back on track!
Movimus Wrestling has a generous tradition of offering one of their videos to view for free for one month. They’ve just posted May’s free match, which was originally released by the predecessor company, NHB Battle, on its tape Battling Bodies 52. It may be an oldie, but it’s a goodie!
In this match, Chuck Rowen wrestles Donnie “Brax” Braxton. Chuck Rowen was one of the most skilled technical wrestlers on the old NHB Battle circuit. Donnie Braxton was also quite skilled. He manages to tie up Chuck during the match and always fought with a lot of spirit. But it seems Chuck can reverse just about any hold and escape any predicament.
I always hope at some point these older wrestlers will find their way back to do a new match, but at this point it is pretty unlikely for these two, given how much time has passed. But the older matches are always enjoyable.

Dave Markus is crushing Ray Mousi’s head in his signature headscissor, taking a moment to make sure Ray’s head is centered to absorb the full force of the pressure inflicted by his legs.
After getting Ray’s head right where he wants it, Dave starts the trash talk. “How’s that feel? You ready to submit?”
Ray’s vascular biceps are powerful, with veins popping, but he can’t even bring them to bear to break out of Dave’s painful headscissor.
Ray may have the bigger biceps, but in this match he is forced to submit to the alpha male.
Ray taps out! Dave’s formidable legs have claimed their latest victim.

“Having trouble there, little guy?” Jake taunts Z-man, as he chokes off Zman’s air supply with a figure four headscissor, grabbing some of Zman’s hair for good measure.
“I’ll get you,” Zman mutters, using precious oxygen. Jake laughs maliciously as he tightens his grip on Zman, determined to make him pass out…
“C’mon, you can get out. Can’t you? Or do you just wanna give up, pussy? You can give up if you want.”
Zman may have the more ripped physique, but he is suffering in Jake’s expert breathtaking grip.
Shawn lands the deadly choke that is the beginning of the end. Evan, though exhausted at the end of a long match, is pumped, and his veins pop while he struggles with every last bit of strength he has to defeat the choke.
“Just let me get this in real quick,” says Shawn as he manages to get both legs wrapped around Evan’s lower torso, giving him an extra measure of control over Evan’s movements. But not content with mere control, to get the win Shawn needs to inflict damage and pain. After stabilizing his position, Shawn extends his legs straight to maximize their crushing power, turning Evan’s abs to silly putty while Shawn concentrates again on laying in on the choke.
Evan is wrapped up tight with nowhere to go, the life being squeezed out of him as an anaconda does to its prey. After a long struggle, not wanting to give the final submission that will end the match, Evan finally taps hard on Shawn’s rock solid thigh clenched tight against his torso, signaling his defeat.

Swage loved wrapping his strong legs around his opponents and squeezing relentlessly until they submitted, but here he finds himself the victim of Kyle, a more experienced practitioner. Whether you’re a fan of submission wrestling in general, or a fan of of Fightplace’s special style of scrappy, buddies-at-home submission wrestling, the “Silent Revenge” video recently released by Fightplace is a must-have for your collection. It is fast becoming one of my favorite Fightplace videos. Fans of scissor holds will be especially smitten as the video is filled with body and head scissors alike, sometimes in combination with a full nelson or other hold to drive up the pain. This video is basically a 45 minute scissorfest and could easily have been another entry in the Fightplace “Real Hard Scissors” series.
Lukas and Marius have faced off before — in fact, it was in Real Hard Scissors 3, another great video — but both have added muscle since their last videos. Neither guy is a bodybuilder type by any means, but in this video we not only get energetic wrestling, but also more definition and veins popping than what you usually find at Fightplace. The fighters seemed determined to relive their previous battle, but bringing new strength and confidence to the mat.
Lukas of course unleashes his feared “shaking scissor”, which he has been perfecting over the years. But Marius is determined to get his revenge on Lukas. Imitation is the highest form of flattery, and it looks like Marius has picked up tricks from Lukas, now trying shaking scissors of his own! Check it out as an endlessly repeating GIF:

Lukas squirms in pains, clearly unhappy. There’s not much trash talk between these guys as they fight (the video is named “Silent Revenge” for a reason), and even if there were I don’t know German. But no doubt Lukas is furious that Marius has the nerves to use his signature move and then turn it against him. I sure would be!
No way Lukas will just take that sitting down. He’ll show Marius the real master of the shaking scissor, subjecting Marius to punishing hold after punishing hold. Watch as Marius keeps Lukas trapped in a headlock for awhile, stretching out to gain leverage and maximize the pain felt by his opponent. Lukas doesn’t submit but instead keeps a firm grip on Marius’s waist and then works to reposition his legs around Marius’s body. When he’s got it set up just right, he crosses his ankles and extends straight for a tight lock squeezing the midsection of Marius. Just like that, the tables have turned! Marius is visibly frustrated that he can’t contain his opponent long enough to gain a submission, and the fight goes on.
Each wrestler seems determined to win this match with a scissor, but neither wants to submit to a scissor! I won’t reveal who emerges as the victor in this battle of the scissor squeeze, but this is a great video for your collection.
